Interesting. The worlds' longest lit light bulb (The centennial light bulb) has been lit since 1901. So its currently 117 year old.

It should be noted that this lightbulb is only 4W which isnt enough to light up a cupboard, let alone a room. Most standard lightbulbs produce 100W-200W of light so each room would need approx 50 lights just to produce the same effect.
