Oh for the love of God people! ya'll are blowing this way out of proportion...
Verification is VOLUNTARY, not required. The application process is non-intrusive, it's not like you're filling out your full name, ssn, address, etc. and the verification photo is private.
Verify or not, that's your choice.
But don't be a hypocrite and accuse other users of being fake/catfish/etc. if you yourselves aren't verified; as MANY people do constantly on here...
not a day goes by without at least two or three trolls accusing friends of mine of being fake...
