Why are prenatal vitamins so expensive?

Depends on where you get them at. I was intending to buy some gummy ones from the store, but so far every store I have gone to for them doesn't have them all of a sudden. Guess they're sold out. I went on ahead and got my prescription ones and those were $6.09 I believe they are generic. I don't think you necessarily have to take the vitamins, but they can be very beneficial to you and the baby's health. It gives them most of the nutrients that they are needing if it's not in what you eat. It makes up for the supplements that are not in your daily diet.

Get generic at Walmart

Because women buy them.... They have a market. They're not needed though if you have a good diet.

Buy organic fruit and vegetables istead. Youll be better of than some chemical vitamins

I found them for 14+ change at Walmart. Check there first.
