@bijouxbroussard Love ya BB but Iowa is not Klan country. Indiana has a far longer history with the Klan. Iowa has historically been a pretty progressive state, though not as much as its neighbors Minnesota and Wisconsin. The NW part of the state is super conservative and represented by noted asshole Steve King in Congress.
As a Midwesterner, just a friendly reminder that is NOT the South around here. Conservatives are temporarily ascendant in a few states like Michigan and Wisconsin that will swing back. Iowa went for Obama at least in 2008 and I think ‘12 as well and will also be competitive in ‘20.
