Are people more pathetic and sensitive than they used to be?

No, people are the same as they've always been. Just these days they don't feel like they need to hide in the shadows and suffer in silence anymore, now they're allowed to be human, and have problems, and talk about those problems.
What's the evidence that people in the past suffered silently, internally and privately? Maybe people are culturally encouraged to suffer more - whallow in their past and their regrets and their misery.
not up to me to give you evidence. if you want it, it's up to you to find it. you asked a question and i answered in the way i thought best. nothing more. These days, the world is a much more open place without a doubt. people document their entire lives everyday everywhere, and that's not a thing people used to do or even felt comfortable doing in the past. but, not gonna go out of my way to make a flow chart about it lol
I <3 your answer but on a technicality I asked a question. You supplied a statement in response - with a claim in it. It is therefore up to you to give evidence for the statement. Of course if it's not worth your time or effort or you do not want to that's fine too - but burden of proof is with the giver of the answer not the person asking the question ;)
if you say so. you asked for an answer or opinion really and got one. you then asked for evidence when there didn't need to be any. how can one prove a thought, when it's really just a thought? the answer would always be " because i think so" wouldn't it? anyhow. have a great day.
