Would you agree that free speech as a right is free, if your speech falls within the accepted limits if the majority?

The second anybody deviates from praising: multiculturalism, socialism, liberalism, or any of the other apparently sacred topics, you lose your right to free speech. We need a lot more of :"I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

You comparing apples and oranges.

You have the RIGHT to free speech, meaning the government will not attempt to censor you.

You have NO right to say whatever you want and be free from the repercussions of saying those things.

You want to put down liberalism, socialism, LGBT rights, minority rights, whatever, go for it. No government agent will harass you. Will other citizens, who feel strongly about those things come after you? FUCK YES.

I know the US government does not have the power to prohibit hate speech.

But imagine if it did. How long do you think it would be before somebody like Trump started to apply the reasoning to his domestic opponents. Just thinking outside the box.

@Random1Thoughts Well if we are just playing a thought game there, then I would imagine someone like trump would have no issue cracking down on speech he doesn't like.
