That being autistic means I’m stupid or something because I act like a child.

Most people also don’t believe I have autism because I don’t “look” like I do, whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean.

@ScrewThisImDone I’m on the spectrum too and no one suspects it either, but people that I trusted enough to know it don’t take me seriously.
@ScrewThisImDone I find it so ignorant when people think you have to look like you have autism. I mean really, come on 😂

I blame groups like Autism Speaks, since they only portray the mute child with a facial deformity, that's usually also violent. That's not helping anybody, and only helps cause these ridiculous stereotypes.
