If your ex wants you to be be friends with him, would you?
My ex has asked me if I could remain in his life but as a friend. There was no cheating when we broke up, we just had too many other issues.

The way I see it : if you're very much in love it means you're very close in all kinds of ways; that doesn't change because circumstances force a sexual disengagement. Contact of whatever kind is not going to remove the heartbreak. As long as it doesn't make it worse, why throw away everything?

@Random1Thoughts Its worked - up to a point - for me. Can involve a bit of deception if you've a current partner who disapproves, but what the hell - there's none of us perfect! Best of luck - let me know how it goes!☝
