Is there somebody from your past that pops into your head daily?

I have this particular person that I met 5 years ago while I was on a work trip. We stayed in the same hotel and while having breakfast, we somehow ended up sharing a table.

I was busy with conferences but my spare time was spent with him talking and lounging at the hotel pool.

We kept in touch and continued talking for 3 years but I eventually gave up contact and ignored him. We both grew to have feelings for each other but our circumstances, families and career will never reunite us.

I wonder what he is doing now.
