When you are romantic, naive (that usually means young), and foolish ALL relationships involving romance and sex attraction are imaginary.

As for online, they can be very real, but they have some limitations.

Example: Shakespeare & Company, a non-fiction book written decades ago about two pen pal correspondents who sent each other snail mail letters for many years finally transcending the limitation of this intense long distance relationship by meeting in person and, eventually, getting married.

While we're at it, if you like true stories, I can recommend two very interesting stories you might like:

A movie made in Canada back in the 90s, originally a television mini-series, about Canadian mental patients who were subjected to cruel and unethical experiments under the MK Ultra CIA mind control projects and who eventually sued the CIA. Even though I knew the history of this situation, I was riveted to the screen for the entire movie and my heart pounded for hours after watching it. I found it on YouTube. The title of the movie:

The Sleep Room

The other one is a book I am reading. I'm reading it because, years ago, back in the 60s, I knew the author of the book...right before she joined up with Charles Manson & family. Fortunately, she never participated in any of the infamous crimes, but she spent a long time under the group and Charlie's evil spell. The book explains clearly and in honest detail why a pretty intelligent 14 year old girl would attach herself to an evil cult leader. In my opinion, it is, by far, the best, least sensationalistic, most accurate, account of the Manson situation.

@SW-User Not sure where you are but the book was also a best seller in England.

@SW-User It's the best book so far about that era, Charles Manson, and how a sweet pretty 14 year old girl from a middle class home wound up joining the cult. Since I knew the author, I had to read the book.
