Do you ever interrupt your siblings bickering with their partners by interjectin rude comments?

One of my elder brother is out of shape, he was involved in a motorcycle accident 6 months ago. While in rehab, he has put on 10 kg.

His wife continuously makes rude remarks about his weight during family gatherings. I see the humiliation on my brothers face and he’s very sensitive. I had enough, I went into the house and brought a standing mirror and told her to look at herself, she ain’t no oil painting and she’s twice his size. She left, my mother told me off and my brother gave me the longest hug and a big fat kiss on the cheeks.

Sadly she will probably unleash her anger on him. I’m not sure if I should apologise or leave it be.

Hell no. Don't apologize.

The only reason I thought about apologising is because she will take it out on him. I just wish I could knock her out but that not the right way.

@PilinisesiofParadise you know your brother has to decide whether he wants to keep taking that or not.
She sounds like a very rude insensitive person.

@PilinisesiofParadise then call her and say don't you think of taking it out on him. I swear man. She has no brain and no right to do that

I will calm down and speak to her tomorrow. I have a big mouth that doesn’t know when to shut. I think it’s best to speak to her when I am calm and voice how I feel about her behaviour.

I’ve spoken to him about this many times. He has the last day in this matter. She is very rude and self entitle.

@PilinisesiofParadise perhaps one day he'll decide that he deserves better
