Why couldnt I be born in the late forties!?!? 😩😢😢

I am so infatuated with the 50s 60s and 70s music and culture, just life in general. You all who grew up during those times, I only dream of being. 😢😢 Idk why i feel so distnace from myself, I cant really explain it, I just know that when I learn more things about said decades I just wish I lived it.

cothos makes a very good point - the shift in values between America immediately after WWI and America in the 70's was pretty astounding. Among other things, the 60's was largely a cultural uprising *against* the status quo from the late 40's and especially the 50's, and the 70's continued that in some different ways.
