It's 2016 and girls still open doors for themselves

I learned when I was very young that the man always opens a door for a lad, car door, store door (unless it's automatic), restaurant door, and always pull out her chair, it's all part of being a gentleman and I still do all of this today for my wife, 14 years younger than me, when we met and went on our first date, she couldn't believe I opened the car door for her, it was the first time in her life that a man had done that for her, it's just the right thing to do, so c'mon guys, open those doors, help her put on her coat, be a gentleman, believe me, it scores major points in the end.
