Scientific theory is promoted as fact believing in scientific theory is no different than someone else believing in what's written in a holy book. Believing in something despite there being no proof of it is inherently faith. Not all science is faith but a lot of what is proposed today is. @SW-User It's still a guess though to some degree or else it would be deemed as fact or law. With a theory there's still an opening for debate over it or for proposals of other theories.
