The way I see it there are two kinds of people in the world.

Confrontational...and non-confrontational...and they're both equally responsible for the worlds problems.

The non-confrontational types will simply allow situations to happen and only act when it's too late.

And the confrontational types will chase after problems that don't exist, thus creating problems.

Doesn't quite equate though does it ?
By your rationale there is no 'middle ground'. It's either one or the other.
Supposing there are those who 'oppose' and they are shouted down or even belittled by the 'proposer' ?
They've made a challenge to the improper behaviour but have no power to overturn the decision.

@Picklebobble2 There is no middle ground...it's clear to see that there are people who stand up and people who sit down.

People who raise their voices and others that will lower them.

People who push for change...and people who push back.

@Fangirlsarah1996 And there are those who do/say nothing. There's your third type.
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@Picklebobble2 ...they fall under non-confrontational.

It's literally the definition of non-confrontational.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@Fangirlsarah1996 But your whole proposition doesn't make sense.
whether you are confrontational or not, where do you get the 'Chasing problems that don't exist' ?
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@Picklebobble2 Those are the extreme examples of both...the worst of these two kinds of people.

The exact reason we cannot proceed as a species.

This wasn't an optimistic post, do not mistake it for such.

@Fangirlsarah1996 you really make very little sense here
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@Fernie Why? I'm stating my reasoning as plainly as I can...I'm not speaking in riddles or hidden messages.

I'm saying humanity can quite easily be split into two groups of people...and those two groups of people are why humanity is in the sorry state it's in.

What is so hard to make sense out of that?
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@Fangirlsarah1996 You may need to re-read it then because the way you propose it doesn't make sense.
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@Picklebobble2 I'm starting to feel like there's a lack of reader comprehension here...
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@Fangirlsarah1996 Oh well in that case....you're wrong.
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@Picklebobble2 Okay fine...lets break it down here.

What parts are you having trouble understanding? 🙄
