@PoizonApple This is perhaps why we truly never know even those close to us. Everybody hides something and then our own perceptions cloud seeing the other person properly. We filter it through our expectations, dreams, society, etc. This in a nutshell is mostly why relationships are a messy clusterfuck.

@PoizonApple I'm so jaded at 51. Never married. Was afraid mine would turn out like friends. I know few remotely happy married people. Few. Eventually one or both cheat, the resentment builds over crap and well you just change and don't share much stuff in common anymore. Married people are great though in minimizing how miserable they are.
