If you lost all your money and status would you keep up appearances or risk humiliation by admitting defeat?

I would rather keep up appearances or I would move away where nobody knew me if I no longer could.

I don’t care about “status”. I just like being self-sufficient. I’d work pretty much wherever I needed to, to not have to depend on others.
