Is it possible to be a politician and a good person?

I don't think so. They are only good to those like them aka the rich.

it's possible, but don't expect any raises/promotions, or to be able to change the world in any appreciable way. there's a glass ceiling for decent politicians, and the punishment can be severe, if one decides to try to break it.
