Is it normal for an 8 month old baby to already be standing up on his own without any help and without pulling his self up?

It’s not abnormal
My oldest was doing so at that age
At 7 month he was pulling himself up to a standing position in his crib
At 8 months he was standing alone for a few seconds - his knees were a little shaky- he’d not stand for very long but he was definitely trying for longer each time
