@SW-User Men who knock up women don't get welfare. The mother gets the welfare on the child's behalf. Single fathers can claim welfare for their children, however they are a small population. What is more common is that women get pregnant and the father disappears.

@BayouBoudin So change the rules for all. Why penalize one side when both sides are a party to it?
