@Callmewhatyouwill Indeed. I'm just saying less corporate funding in politics isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm not making a values judgement on their choice of candidate.
@Einstok its not. But to change that would be rewriting campaign contribution laws. And since they're paying the politicians its not likely to change.

It should also be noted campaign contributions don't ensure victory. Look at Hillary vs trump.

It was just a non issue over a trivial amount of money.
