@Abstraction The difference is that there is strong circumstantial evidence for life on other planets. There is even some direct evidence which has come to light in recent times from released military sources if you believe it.

@Greenbare When you look at and understand how life evolved on this planet it is logical to believe that if he happened here it could happen on another planet with the same or similar conditions. When you study the numbers you come away with how could there not be another planet like ours, in fact many.
