Question how does one know if they have become evil ?Asking for a friend. lol joking but still the question has been posed

@Pureblossom Yeah, I remember seeing a show where this man did all these horrible things to people like torture and murder and no one could figure out why. They eventually asked him and he had the most evil reponse ever, "Because I can." He didn't even have a reason. That's evil.

@Reject Is that not a sadist . Could be a type of evil but not the full definition ?

@Pureblossom I think he was a sadist. I think his reason was that he liked to do those things. It's just that when you're a good person, that's exactly like having no reason because it's not justified.

@Reject so what you are saying is. If one does does something 'evil' they didn't need enjoy it but it was justified they are not evil?

@Pureblossom Yeah. It's like how sometimes you have to send a criminal to prison. It's sad to take away a human's life like that. It's not even necessarily their fault because maybe they had a really hard life that led them to bad choices, not all criminals are bad people, but still, you have to do it because they're a threat to society as they are now. You don't enjoy it, you do it because you have to. That's not evil, even though you're doing an evil thing to someone.
