How do you know when you're in love with someone?

I've only ever truly been in love with one person. Everyone will notice they are in love in different ways. I get a very intense feeling in the pit of my stomach when he is around and even when I just think about him. When he kisses me i forget that everyone else in the world exists and when he holds my hand I feel at peace. When it hurts to be away from that person , when sometimes you can go through painful moments in the relationship you somehow come back together in the end. Eventually they become all you think about.

When you think about them all the time, and want their happiness more than yours

When you are able to say to a person “ I love you and it hurts “ then you know.

In love is related to the feelings people are expressing here.

But being in love is different depending on who you are. If you are by nature self-centred, you'll be really nice as long as it feels good. If you are emotionally immature or handle conflict badly, you'll tear the other person up a bit. If you don't have character, you'll disappear as soon as it doesn't feel good - because you don't love them, you love the feeling.

True love takes character to work through your own immaturity. The connection, the feelings, will always come back if two people work at it.

When I have the tendency to kidnap them or/and eat them

When nothing else and no one else matters.

When your heart skips beats and every time you think of them it makes you smile

you cant let that person go from your mind. you want to spend more time with that person even if its just to be there talking and silence doesnt matter. you want to make that person feel happy.
