Cept it's created by a person to use on a site to... do they bidding, say sex ads, trolling, chitchat.... whatever the programmer wants.

Plenty are harmless but some can save conversations. .

And.. possibly get info to further annoy folks.. like say spam them about crap no one cares about or worse.

@Spoiledbrat just another automatic, programmed annoyance using scripted laguage, ya know with the maths and the things.

I was guilty of using java scripted bots to annoy folkd... or humor them back in the Yahoo chat days.
