Most of our politicians run on the assumption that they are free of tarnishment...

But in actuality, every one of us is riddled with mistakes and errors and closets full of skeletons.

And inevitably these skeletons are exposed and we act as if they completely obliterate whatever agenda the politician was pushing in the name of hypocrisy. We even use it as an excuse to justify our own skeletons.

We are all hypocrites.

As long as we think hypocrisy gives us the right to be hypocritical, our political climate will only get worse.
