Why do people like making a mountain out of a molehill?

I've seen it all, here on SW and in RL....I don't get it why people make a big deal of things that don't really matter.
Does that improve one's life if someone does that, I'm wondering?

People like to take their bad days out on people.

People love drama.

People can be anyway on the internet. Most of what the trolls say on here, wouldn't say it to your face. Take what they say on here with a grain of salt.

I personally love watching the drama from a distance. It's cheap entertainment. :)
