Can being honest ever get you in trouble ?

I remember getting called a “back biter” because I told a cousin of mine what annoyed me about her. She asked for the truth but once she got it she called a back biter which is childish to say the very least lol.

@NickiHijab lol, that’s what I’m talking about. I don’t go around telling people unnecessary things that may hurt their feelings but if they ask I will tell them how I feel, why I did this, exc. I’ll try and word it the best way I can but there’s usually no nice way to word stuff like that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The insult doesn’t even make sense tho. Back biter means to talk slanderously of someone who isn’t present. She was right in front of my face.. I couldn’t have been more direct even if I tried.
