Of course. It can even put you in legal jeopardy. You can be convicted of perjury if you tell the truth but someone else lies and the judge believes the liar.
@hippyjoe1955 maybe it’s deserved if that’s their situation.

@Stark So you are ok with the innocent being convicted?
@hippyjoe1955 I think you should be able to prove yourself if you have nothing to hide and you’re telling the truth.

@Stark What is truth in a court of law? It is what the judge believes.
@hippyjoe1955 Yeah if you’re able to prove yourself. The judge doesn’t just blindly choose whoever they want if that was the case then there would be no point of a judge.

@Stark So if you were charged with a simple traffic offense and the police lied on the stand how are you going to prove otherwise in a court of law. There were no other witnesses and there is no video of the event taking place. Who is the judge going to believe? Here is a hint. It won't be you.
@hippyjoe1955 so what difference would it make if I were to lie in that situation ? If the judge automically wouldn’t believe me either way . I would just tell the truth I just don’t see a point in lying in that situation.

@Stark You didn't read what I first wrote did you.....
@hippyjoe1955 🤷🏽‍♀️ Either way, I’d stand my ground. I know people are falsely accused many times but I wouldn’t lie not to say I don’t ever lie but in a legal/law situation I wouldn’t.

@Stark Did you even read what I wrote? Are you capable of reading? Is your comprehension above that of an average 5 year old? Where did I ever suggest anyone should lie?
@hippyjoe1955 nope, so it’s pointless continuing to argue.
