Is it bad to think that if you had kids they wouldn't amount to anything?

There a a reason why when you are born in a ghetto it's hard to get out or when you are born into poverty it's hard to get out. You just don't amount to anything if you were just born into being street trash. If I had chosen to keep the babies they wouldn't have gotten any better from what I did when I was a kid.
