Why are the world so blind to the situation in Yemen?

I’m watching a documentary on it, somebody is cutting onion. Too sad to even describe what is going on there.

Because our president considers countries like that as “shitholes” and our government likes to fund regimes that are convenient to “national interests” instead of actually promoting global good
