@dark548 There are two "spiritual paths" out there, *Left-Hand Path* & *Right-Hand Path*.
The former is centered on the well-being of the individual & focuses on her/his needs, emphasizing ascension to becoming A god/goddess in their own right.
The latter is centered on the well-being of "The Collective", it makes every one subtle & sheep-like...to prep them in to assimilation towards an already existing pantheon that may or may not have good intentions (usually, they are malevolent & cleverly disguise them selves).
I am of "The Left-Hand Path".
Some Examples of "The Left-Hand Path": Hinduism, Buddhism (particularly "Tantra" & "Kama-Sutra"), Dark Paganism & Satanism.
Some examples of "The Right-Hand Path": Abrahamic Religions such as Christianity, Islam & Jewism. "Wicca" & *fluffy* "New Agey" types.

Indeed. I used to feel that every time I ran off the edge of a mountain in a hang glider. I no longer fly so I no longer experience that euphoria. I am no longer divine.
