Why are most forbidden love stories is always about dark skin guys and a white girl?

I asked this to a woman and she said to her it has to do with feeling threatened. White men are threated by black men. But white women aren't threatened by black women. So I asked if there was a race she did feel threatened by and she said Asian women.
