I only have online friends, and I talk to them frequently.
I like to know what people look like as well, I'm sort of cautious like that

It's sort of a precautionary measure. @FallenxShane

I don't care if I never see what my internet friends really look like as long as we get along and they treat me with respect. Unless I actually plan on meeting them in person, which is exceedingly rare. Then I like to know exactly who I'm talking to because it's important that I take every possible precaution to make sure that I'm safe and I know what to expect.

I am referring to those rare creatures we meet. We have to be able to see them to form any kind of friendship.

That's true too, however I am perplexed as to why anyone would refuse especially if the friendship is authentic. @SW-User

@badapple
Really, I met a very good friend online 8 years ago. Can't go a day without speaking to her, we've taken many vacations together.

Online friends are not my thing. The only friends I have are real life ones.

I have both, most of my friends I've met online has become great friends in real life. @TopOfTheWorld
@Random1Thoughts it doesn't appeal to me but its good that it suits you and you enjoy it.
I only ever seem to attract people who are just as socially useless as I am or who I would never hang out with face-to-face so I don't bother anymore.
