Why are a lot of people so obsessed with learning an Asian language and travelling to Asia?

@VeronicaPrincess I'm not talking about learning a language so that you can visit the country, I'm talking about them separately. Why are people obsessed with learning an Asian language, and also why are people obsessed with going to Asian countries. I don't care if they speak the language fluently or decently, this isn't my point.
