24 hour grocery store in a slightly rough part of town. Staff paranoid?

I just went in there with my 🐻 to get a few groceries! The security guard wasn't even happy when I started admiring the stuffies!

Actually I live in a rough city and its really not safe to go into stores at night. That's when most of the robberies occur.
