i missed the elephant

in april 2016 when i was 15 and we were returning from Jayanti hills to Falakata in my uncle's car the road was again heavily forested and often elephants and leopards cross the road. so while driving some men in the jeep passing by said they saw an elephant i was excited and also my heart was beating fast but when we drove further nothing was there probably it crossed the road before we see it and both me and my uncle were sad

Have you ever seen an elephant in the wild or tigers?

@Heybrosiamhere No I mean wild, not captive ones.

@Heybrosiamhere We have two types of wild cats in my state. I've only seen one in the wild and just one time, it was a bobcat...they are small and they don't bother humans. We also have mountain lions (also known as cougars)...they are rare here but they have been spotted and also their tracks spotted on a river a few miles from where I live. They are more dangerous but fortunately they have plenty of food like deer to eat so I have never heard of one attacking humans in this state....they do attack in other states especially in parks and forests in remote areas.
