Have you got in a car wreck?

I have when my car brake didn't work and smashed into an incoming vehicle who was a drunk man. Broken my arm and my one of my rib bones and nose from the air bag. Was like two years ago when it happen and my first time driving alone.

I've had two in my lifetime. One when I was 12 when a tractor trailer driver ran my mom and I off the road on the highway. It resulted in me losing my left foot and my mother's cancer to return.

The second, I was coming home from a school event when I hydroplaned in the pouring rain and ran off the road into a small ravine. Thankfully, only the car was damaged. Well, totalled actually.

My brakes failed and the car left the road and started flipping. It stopped on its top and I was left hanging by the seatbelt until help arrived. I walked away without a scratch.

How did your brakes fail? Or did they just not keep you from having an accident?

@hippyjoe1955 No idea, car company did inspect my car afterward, but I don't know really. It just didn't brake when I had pressed it, it may have been because I was panicking. I was driving around 60 mph and there was a car next to me so I couldn't turn the other way.

@SakiSaki Just curious. Brakes don't fail very often. But sometimes they seem to take too long to work in an emergency.
