Nope!...I would find the necessary help (like charitable hostels etc.) for that person!...Accommodating someone (unknown to us) at home isn't a wise thought!...It involves lots of risk!...I am not saying that the person will turn to be a bad but it can not taken for granted that the person will turn out to be nice, either!...It's hard to trust anyone today!
Family members and close friends too turn out to be traitors now-a-days. So, precaution is better than cure!...🙂
