@SW-User Yes responsible and civic minded activist & NGO's always hold the government's feet to the fire regarding deforestation. The government would have got away with more nature destruction if not for these brave individuals.

@SW-User Malaysia is ruled by a single party since independence. We do have elections but the opposition is always on the back foot. I'm not suggesting electoral fraud. It's just that people are living in the "better the devil you know, than the angel you don't' mentality.

@ChocolateBhavaa We also struggle with the sheep mentality in the UK.
