As much as I have dislike for DT I see him as a symptom of a much larger problem. Which you identify correctly as a Plutocracy. You might enjoy a book called Democracy Inc. by Weldon. He speaks of a Inverted Totalitarianism. It is a powerful analysis of our situation. You might also enjoy the Jimmy Dore show (online on YouTube).

@ProfRS thx very much! Is the book,” Fire & Fury” beneath u? Lol! There’s also a book I’m reading called,” Russian Roulette!” Wow!!!!
@TotalMiss that’s a very wise statement. All I would like is for these politicians not to show me that I have a higher education! That they don’t embarrass us outright and not have friends that would rather see us dead!!!!

@FelixLegion Felix you had me when you used the C word...I don't mean Communist. By the way, I never judge ideas by what groups 'label' the idea. You see if a "Communist" called an object made for sitting a 'chair'...I wouldn't be stupid enough to say 'Sounds like Communism to me!!". I would actually ask...is it a chair? By the way if a "Capitalist" said, that thing built into the wall that is made of glass that allows you to look outside is a window....I hope I wouldn't be dumb enough to say "Sounds like Capitalism to me"...I would just say...."Gee, I think he is right, looks like it is window"....:)
