Why do you hide your replies?

@Mondayschild Hiding friends makes sense, but the replies are there, in the open forum. Hiding them from someone checking out the persons profile seems wrong. If everything is hidden on a profile, I don't accept a pm from them. Deleted without opening. Yes. This is an anonymous site, so, what more do we need to hide?

@Serenitree I really don't have a problem opening replies. There was a terrible person getting screen shots of my replies and sending the to another friend, taking them out of context and almost ruined the friendship. I don't want that to happen again.

@Mondayschild The point is, they are still here. I could take screenshots of your replies every time I see one. I could keep a file of them, if I was crazy and mean enough to do it, I wouldn't need the list to find them.

My only reason for ever checking a person's replies, is if I get a message, and we haven't interacted before, I try to learn a bit about them before opening the message. If their profile is completely secretive, I delete the message.
