If somebody was dry texting you/short texting you

Would you just give up trying to make conversation with them?

Where has the art of communicating via voice gone?

My boyfriend is a terrible texter. I can text him paragraphs and I will only receive a few words in response.

I say that he is a terrible texter because it is not only with me that he texts this way. Not to mention that we do talk a lot over the phone and in person.

You can't get mad at a person for short texting you. If they've responded directly to whatever you've asked them, what is there to be upset about?

@LithiumDrop that is true . Not about short texting really for me . I think always being the one to attempt . The voice is better over the phone . A phone call is a better form of communication

@LithiumDrop I am a terrible texter! I would much rather have a voice conversation. There is too much room for misunderstanding or not knowing what a person means or is feeling. Thus my replies are very short. I also gripe at my partner about that, because that seems to be her thing...texting, instead of v2v and I hate it. I understand when she's at work, thats fine. But if she's asking me to elaborate on something I tell her I will talk with her about it later. I don't want to text a conversation.
