People of color: Do you actually like and use the term "people of color"?

I'm Mexican by heritage, but my skin color is white. So I don't really know what to call myself...

I never call people coloured as a black friend of mine got offended when I did and told me under no certain terms she was black and that was that so now I say jamacan or African or what ever

@Rhodesianman there’s a difference between calling people “colored” and calling them “people of color.” Calling black people colored is extremely insensitive. Calling someone African or Jamaican isn’t necessarily wrong either. Those are nationalities. If you say someone is African it doesn’t describe their race since we know that white people can be from those places as well.

@Rhodesianman ?? why would you even USE that term "colored???" Really, in 2018...you don't know how ignorant that word is?

@Fernie Yes I learnt that it is rather difficult what to say so as not to offend .
