Sure and teenagers always listen to their parents all the time. Totally. Man, if I had an older cousin, uncle, aunt or something along those lines I might not have gotten into half the stupid and did I mention dangerous situations I did as a teen.
Idk, I'm a realist. This naivety about issues like this and teenagers is what causes so many otherwise good kids to get into trouble. I'm not stupid enough to believe my kids or my baby cousins, nieces, or nephews aren't going to do something simply because I or their parents said "no." I know there are a great number of teens on this site and I mean them no offense when I say this but they aren't known for being the brightest bulbs in the box. They do stupid shit. I'd rather monitor the stupidity and know they're okay than see them get hurt. But hey, that's just me.
