When their name is mentioned, it's all you can do not to roll your eyes? For me, it's ole Johnny Appleseed. Not that the man wasn't cool, he was in his own way, but I've heard about him since I was a toddler...😏😏😁😁😁

No one famous. But I had a great uncle who was lynched by the KKK for encouraging black people to vote. And chances are, vote Republican. The parties' bases were much different back then. And I had another distant cousin on my mother's side, young man who had just finished medical school and committed suicide over a love affair.
