But For FFS ! It's winter stop moaning about how cold it is. It's winter !! I've been in zero temperatures for 2 weeks, no water, stop moaning about how " it's a bit chilly I have to wear a hat "

@AliceTinker British winter isn't generally characterised by going outside at lunchtime into temperatures of -5 degrees celsius and snow pummelling your face. It's not extreme by some standards, but it is by British standards. Definitely not just winter.

@RoboChloe sorry disagree with you, yes we have a storm front moving in, but we are actually higher than Siberia so these things happen. Also it's what people have to go through every winter in Scotland Wales Cumbria Yorkshire etc, it's only because it's hit the south of England it's news.

@AliceTinker Given that the police have issued a warning that there is serious risk to life in parts of Scotland, I wouldn't say it's just what happens every year.

Also, my point isn't invalid just because it doesn't apply to the whole of Britain.
