Have you ever been judged for having a different accent or dialect?

If so, how?

I find that most people say "buk" whereas I pronounce "book" the way it's spelt because people from my city tend to say it like that🤷🏽 Which is why a few relatives and friends from different cities find it annoying.

Some people are biased to how they are accustomed to hearing a language spoken and when they hear a difference in others they can come off as discriminating/ a tad bit racist

This usually happens with people who are bilingual more often then region wise dialects in that respect
