Do you hate foreigners?

My friends told me that Americans hate foreigners. It means that Americans hate any immigrants. Is it real? WHy?

It can be real if you go to rural areas and small towns where not many immigrants live. They've been taught to dislike people who aren't like them. Big cities? No worries.

@Ynotisay I noticed the same when I moved to different states. In Columbia, sc, there are not many places recruiting international citizens but Florida is happy to do that. They pay less for immigrants
