Were you raised in a religion?

@SW-User North of Atlanta here in Forsyth.I am not religious much now

@rebeccah97 Aside from religion, I have Family in Forsyth county! They seem to like it. Do you like it? I sadly Live up north now not in Georgia I miss The food

@SW-User I do its nice and its grown up alot so we dont feel like we are in the middle of no where but I think in a few years I will move out to Atlanta area

@Zombee When did you leave Catholicism?

@SW-User when I was a teenager

@SW-User Do you go to mass or no? I only know a little about catholic as I was Raised Baptist

@SW-User I knew a Sikh before. He showed me his long beautiful hair and told me not to tell his friends he did so. It's sweet memory.

@Miram Sounds like something a more-conservative Muslim woman would do. I didn't know some Sikhs are so private about their hair.

@SW-User He said he's not allowed to show it except to women in his family. I actually appreciated his trust even though the tradition made little sense to me. And I was fascinated by the length of his hair. I asked him to whip it back and forth and he said I am pushing my luck 😅

@Miram What made you leave Islam?

@SW-User The countless irrational teachings.

I graduated from an Islamic school. It wasn't my choice to study there but I was obliged to if I wanted to also attend a secular one.

The more I learnt,the more I realized it equipped men of the ability to excercice power over women even if unworthy of it.
